Lineage

What changed when we taught it something. Each tree starts with a small model and a bare request. Every branch adds one thing: a better prompt, a skill, a reference image, a second look. The Slopwright directs; the machine does what it’s told, more or less.

How it’s made

Every output is real

Every picture, game, sound and sentence on this site was made by the model named on it, with the exact text shown on it, on the date shown. Nothing was written or drawn by hand and nothing was picked from several tries: each node is one generation (or, where a node is a loop, every attempt is shown). A broken result stays broken.

One thing at a time

Each tree uses one small model for its answers, and every picture uses the same seed, so the difference between a parent and its child is what was added, not luck. The added text is the real thing: a lesson from the Slop Curriculum, a skill file from this site’s own workshop, or a check from its engines.

Who wrote what

The prompts marked as better prompts, and the notes, were written when the trees were planned, by the AI that built this site. Prompts marked as model-written were written by the model on the node. Where a better idea came out worse, the note says so.

What it cost

Generated once with Cloudflare Workers AI and kept as files, so viewing costs nothing. 2026-10-14: 1,127 neurons, 66 calls. The free allowance is 10,000 neurons a day.
